**From the top of the pet step or pet ramp to the top of the bed should be considered one more step.  From the top of a 22" Triple Pet Step to the top of a 28" bed would be a 6" step up for your dog or cat. 

**Some pets need to be trained to use the pet steps or pet ramps.  You are often changing one of your pet's daily habits and this may take some time and patience so your pet will have time to practice.

**Start training your pet to use the pet step or the pet ramp from the TOP.  It is more natural for your dog or cat to go downhill than it is to get them to go uphill.  Their favorite treat or toys help them become comfortable and familiar with their new pet step or pet ramp.

**Order two...one for the living room or family room and one for the bedroom.  We usually can ship two in the same box. 

**To Clean your ramp:  Soap & water for the frame.  Soap & water or a carpet shampoo for the carpet.  It is best not to soak the carpet to clean it.  The plywood underneath if saturated could warp over time.

All of our pet steps and pet ramps were designed and are measurements that were requested by our wonderful customers.   The following will help you decide where to start in choosing the right size and height for your pet.

12" Wide:  Xsmall and small dogs, cats, rabbits, and ferrets, weighing up to 20lbs.

14" Wide:  Small and medium dogs or cats, weighing up to 35lbs.

16" Wide:  Large, XLarge, and Huge dogs weighing up to 200lbs++.

10" to 14" High:  Made to use beside your couch or chair, or in front of a low window.  Can be used for your dog to jump into the car, van, truck, or suv.

17" to 29" High.  Designed to be used parallel to your bed or to a high window ledge.  The most popular height is the 22" high dog ramp or the 22" high pet triple steps.

The Huge Dog 2 Step is designed for the XXLarge Dogs and is made with 3/4" PVC pipe and fittings.  The Huge Dog Step will hold a dog  up to a maximum of 250lbs.  If your dog is that Big, it probably is a "Horse"!

Note:  Most of your pets do not need the top of the ramp or the step to be the same height as the bed.  From the top step or top platform  to the top of the bed is the Last or usually the 4th or 5th  step.
